Environmental Farm Plan Workshop

Set aside some dedicated time to complete or update your Environmental Farm Plan with support from a trained EFP technician.

An Environmental Farm Plan helps you look at your operation as a whole, recognize what you are already doing well and identify potential environmental risks related to areas such as soil, water, air and farm management. From there, you’ll develop a practical, farm-specific action plan that can be completed over time as your resources allow.

Having a current EFP can help you:

  • Identify and manage environmental risks

  • Improve your understanding of environmental requirements

  • Support long-term farm sustainability and efficiency

  • Demonstrate your commitment to responsible agricultural practices

  • Potentially meet eligibility requirements for certain agricultural funding programs

The EFP program is free, voluntary and confidential. During this hands-on workshop, you’ll work through the online workbook with guidance available when you need it. Whether you are starting your first EFP or renewing an existing plan, this workshop can make the process easier and help you keep moving forward.

Please bring a laptop and information about your farming operation.
