Our journey to different farming practices start with Farming Forward webinars and information days. With that journey we have become more profitable and have increased the ability to spend time with family. By their willingness to look at different alternative farming practices and host field day close to home we were more apt to try these practices out because it showed it can work in our area. A webinar on gardening start me thinking about how regenerative agriculture can be implemented in more areas than just crops and pasture. The organized farm tours like winter water sites that helped us look and implement different ideas. Field days also allow us to network with farmers and see what they have tried. They also helped us finish our EFP. Working with them allowed you to ask clarification questions right when doing EFP so it didn't stop the progress.
