Fencing: Essential Infrastructure… or Just in the Way?

  • The Jaded Chef 5103 50 Street Sangudo, AB, T0E 2A0 Canada (map)

About this session

Good fencing is the backbone of any grazing system — but choosing the right setup can feel overwhelming, especially with today’s mix of permanent, electric, and virtual options. This session looks at practical ways to design fencing that supports smoother rotations, saves time, and fits your land and livestock.

We’ll cover real-world examples from local producers, compare different systems, and explore new technologies like virtual fencing. Expect a relaxed, problem-solving atmosphere where you can ask questions, share what’s worked for you, and pick up new ideas to try next season.
